Start with the deliverable, not the follower count
Follower count is a weak pricing signal. What brands actually buy is a deliverable: a video, a set of stories, an integration. Price the work — production time, creative effort, and the audience it reaches.
A simple baseline: estimate your effective reach per post (average views, not followers) and anchor your rate to a CPM you can defend, then adjust for production effort.
Usage rights and exclusivity are line items
If a brand wants to reuse your content in paid ads, that is usage rights — charge for it separately. If they want you to avoid competitors for 90 days, that is exclusivity — charge for that too.
Putting these terms in writing before the first draft saves the most painful negotiations later.
Let data do the talking
An AI-generated media kit with real audience metrics turns an awkward rate conversation into a straightforward one. Brands trust numbers they can read at a glance.
